==Description==
makes a small shrub with an upright and spreading habit, growing to 0.8 × 0.8 m, with terminal and axillary conical panicles, < 5.5 cm long by 3.3 cm wide, comprising around 72 faintly fragrant violet-blue flowers which emerge in spring and persist until the first frosts of the fall. The opposite, elliptical leaves are about 3.7 cm long by 1.7 cm wide, lanulose above, tomentose below. ()
